Wiry wordpress

Had a problem with a WordPress site I administer last week with a hacking code. It started out with me adding the blog to goggle plus as i wanted to maximize the new author tag "its all about the content baby",  Well did all that three ways of course add abit to the site add it through WordPress and register on Google analytics, well did two already. Then tried to log on and. Bam! error on line ##  went in and there it was :

First back up and DL the whole shebang  Just in case. So took out offending code and lit her up but still no banana was it the open php tag. Called Godaddy and the response " delete line ## oy. He was no good but a very nice man all the same called Norman. 
So what was it? I here you say. A little ";" that should been a ":". but alas it still did not light up.Restored whole thang to year zero. and went through the whole code taking out inline fecken payments Grrrrr.

Well the long and short of it, had to up everything back to the server and restore the database. Oh yeah, then only one page- feckin computers. had a look at the trash and there they were hiding cowering in the corners 'un trash me please', they whimpered. Untrashed the pages and boomm boom acka lacka boom boom she lit up.
